Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as sweet and sharp, yet having the grit of more mature singers. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set came out in March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the only solo performer for the first time on the show. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
