Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. She was raised listening to classical, old boleros and traditional ranchero, romantic and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing, and she began an intensive training in vocals under Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. Music education was continued by the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later with the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed in several chamber groups and opera choruses from Guadalajara and Mexico City. In 2000 she moved into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her current home in Southern California. She performs current the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. as a music teacher and musician she's committed to several community initiatives due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have the opportunity to share her love and appreciation for the traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
